Plenary Lectures

Five plenary sessions by renowned invited speakers will provide updates on the main topics of the meeting and showcase some of the latest clinical and basic science. One plenary lecture will be dedicated to the four best abstracts selected by our scientific committee whose focus is to foster young scientists in particular.

State-of-the-Art Symposia

A total of sixteen state-of-the-art symposia will introduce the audience to the most recent developments and results in both clinical and basic science. These state-of-the-art symposia will usually include three invited speakers and two short matched abstract presentations.

How-to-Treat Symposia and Pro and Contra Sessions

Three how-to-treat symposia and three pro and contra sessions will focus on clinical questions and dilemmas and provide some guidance and fruit for discussion by renowned experts.

Late Breaking News

A hot topic session on Ebola and three more sessions on late breaking news are on the program. Speakers and titles of talks will be announced at the congress.

Oral Presentations

Oral abstract sessions on various topics will complement our scientific program and feature the most interesting science submitted to our meeting.

Educationals and Workshops

On the first day, we offer workshops for physicians and health care professionals.

Satellite/Lunch Symposia 

There will be a set of interesting satellite and lunch symposia sponsored by our industrial partners. Thematically, they will outline some of the most innovative treatment options in hemostasis, throm­bosis and vascular medicine.
